Us girls had so much fun shopping on the streets of Zakapone--scarves, purses, and amber jewelry were the objects of our affection :)
MORE ICE CREAM!!!
Crack me up--Lena was trying on these shoes on her own--they match her shirt!
(of course they are 4 sizes too big...)
I got a big kick out of the "children crossing" street signs...
"Watch out for little girls with pigtails and giant lolipops!!"
Those of us 'kids' over 18 enjoyed a night on the 'town' singing Karaoke upstairs in a little Zakapone bar. We were TERRIBLE...really quite awful...certainly solidified the "stupid obnoxious american" stereotype if there was any doult in anyones mind. We had so much fun though!
I knew Dave could sing...but WOW...I didn't know how great he could sing Backstreet Boys so well without even looking at the lyrics screen...um yeah.
:)
The 9 of us outside our Chateau
Our final place to stay in the Motherland--very nice! Except maybe for the cat poop in our room that the owner was just a little too nonchalant about. Made for a funny story!
OK...so I think we may have a sugar addicted child now.
Although Lena called Stephanie "Sarah" until our very last day together, she certainly was smitten with her! Sorry Steph!
