Lena's first dental visit! So...the pediatricians and books are saying to start visiting the dentist every 6 months between 1 and 2...the dentist (after the 'exam') told me he really doesn't expect to see kids 'till they are 3. Oh well--it can't hurt to get her acquainted with regular dental visits! And hey--I love them, so maybe she will too! Plus...the insurance pays!
She looked pretty terrified and he had to pry her mouth open, but she didn't scream and she didn't cry! They were pretty impressed--as was I! All he did was feel around and take a look in all of 6 seconds or so. It astounds me that he can charge for that!
When it was over, Dr. Jamie made her a fancy glove girl balloon which she adored :)
