There is nothing like watching her experience new things--our family day at
Legoland was no exception! She had a great time and we bought the season pass--so we'll be back a lot this year!

She climbed all the way up the rope structure herself...here she saw me at the top "Mommy!"

Lena's first amusement park ride--SUCH a success! She LOVED it! She was kicking her legs and screaming the whole time. And I think we did this airplane ride 12 or more times, she just kept asking for "more" and we loved watching her squeal!

OK, this pic was right before her very first ride :) I guess my pics are a little out of order.

So then I taught her to put her hands up and yell while we were stopped, and no kidding, without any prompting she did it during the ride right after the quick 'exhilarating' turns! So funny!

So, FYI,
Legoland is an amusement park out here and these amazing
lego structures are located throughout the park and incorporated in almost every ride. There is a '
miniland USA' that has several cities throughout the US and the world recreated in
legos--its quite amazing! Here is the
Iwo Jima Memorial and Washington Monument in part of the DC exhibit.

Daddy kisses! She's getting to be very affectionate and gives a variety of kisses...there are the kisses to wake us up when we are pretending to sleep, elephant kisses (blowing a raspberry on our cheek), alligator kisses (kinda toothy), Eskimo kisses (rub noses then she grabs you and pulls you in for a good cheek kiss!)

My two loves experiencing the fairy tale brook boat ride through lego structures that tell common fairy tales.

"More, MORE" We heard/saw this a LOT that day!

"Choo Choo!" She really loves trains, so the train ride was perfect for her :)
