Our neighbors had a Labor Day party this afternoon complete with a bounce house for the kids. I decided that Labor Day was going to be a patriotic holiday so Lena could wear this dress again :) Hey, they put out a lot of flags along the highway!
Lena was totally entertained by the commotion of at least 20 kids running around like crazy--she was trying desperately to be a part of all of it. Here our neighbor Mikayla was helping Lena walk.
I love this series--Lena wanted so badly to play in the bounce house with the big kids. However, she would have been trampled, so I kept her in the backyard--she was just standing there staring and yelling (happily) to all the kids, then she thought maybe she'd try crawling under the gate, then she tried to stick her head between the bars...which I think hurt because she started crying. We did enjoy the bounce house, but I went in with her and we waited until there were only a few kids :) She loved it! Of course!
