It's a PINK zygote! (we think...)

That's what Dave's been saying all night :) During the ultrasound the baby kept her legs crossed the whole time, so the very understanding and patient ultrasound tech told me to go walk around and drink something with sugar and caffeine and come back in a 1/2 hour. So we did and baby still maintained her modesty! The doctor had me lay on my side and he got some better views resulting in a 70% "It's a girl" determination. So, we are confident enough to start buying pink and purple, but not confident enough to not keep the receipts :)

This is not a very good ultrasound photo--it was much easier to tell what was what during the live version. Still, baby girl Zyga is supposedly 10 inches long and 10 1/2 ounces. The ultrasound showed that so far everything appears healthy and on track.

So tonight we celebrated by enjoying a delicious dinner at The Cheesecake Factory in San Diego and stopping by a store to 'buy something pink.' Above, Dave is feeling the loving tickles of "Love-a-Lot Bear." Our first gift for our baby girl from her parents! We are thrilled!
