The fantastic family members who threw me a very successful baby shower!
Cousin Emily's daughter Aubrey enjoyed Andi's duck cookies, and also helping me unwrap all the presents!
My sis Andi made A LOT of rubber duck cookies, they were a big hit!
Uhhh...I think Courtney should be taking home the presents as her baby girl is due in a week! So fun to share pregnancy stories with such a good friend. Good luck Court!!!
Aunt Nancy, (or I suppose...Grandma Nancy) and Rob and Kathleen's son Zachary. I think Aunt Nancy enjoys being a Grandma!!
And Grandma sure loves being a Great Grandma. Another one's coming grandma!
Oh the tears. As if I wasn't emotional before I became pregnant. I received a "Mother's Day for the mommy to be" card as the shower was the day before Mother's Day--I don't know why, but it struck some chord and I became, well, a puddle of tears--I wailed really. How embarrassing! But hopefully touching? The crying didn't stop later that day when I came home and received a delivery of flowers from Dave for Mother's Day. What is it with this day?
Needless to say, my crying got my mom started...
Thank you to all of you who threw me such a wonderful shower and to all of you who came and supported me with encouragement and gifts. I had a great time and it was so good to see you all. See you again at Christmas I hope! With a little one in tow :)
