The Wild Animal Park

Faith and her 3 year old Jesse are here to visit for a week. We spent 6 hours at the Wild Animal Park yesterday and had a great time. Both kids did VERY well considering... :)
Jesse and Lena played for awhile in the 'Discovery Center' before we toured the park. I love this picture of Lena because of what her posture and expression suggest.

Jesse is really a turtle, not a little boy. Bet you didn't know that!

The petting zoo was a BIG hit with Helena--she squealed with delight as she not so gently touched and pounded the patient animals. Jesse on the other hand was a little too scared to touch the animals too much...

Lena napping with her feet up--I thought it was too cute.

The Wild Animal Park has acres and acres where the African animals are living together just as if in the wild, and you take a ride through their habitat. Very cool!

The baby elephant is a month old...awww!

I gave Lena a biter biscuit to give her something to do. It gave me something to do--clean her up and change her outfit! What a mess!!! She totally enjoyed it though!
It was such a fun day, and we are having so much fun with Faith and Jesse!
