Exersaucer Fun

They say play for children is like work for an adult--its their job. To learn through playing. Well, our little Lena is going to be a hard worker someday I think because she takes her play VERY seriously. She gets so focused! I sit and watch her (she of course is oblivious to me) and it is as if she has very clear tasks to accomplish and has to think through how to accomplish these tasks. I've even seen her multitask! In the exersaucer, she was playing with the orange pole toy with her left hand and spinning the clear bead barrel with her right. And with these very serious looks on her face!

In this photo she caught me watching her...
Whoever invented the exersaucer should be given a nobel peace prize. She loves it and I can do the dishes or cook dinner--for at least 30 minutes.
Peace.
Worthy of a prize? ...Yes!

I think I see more hair too!
I love her expression where she caught you watching her. It's a combination of "what?" and "oh! you're watching!". I'm just cracking up over here!
YUP YUP!!
