Laura and I took the kids walking down at the Del Mar beach on base yesterday and spent a little time playing in the sand.

Lena's first toes in sand experience--she seemed to 'dig' it (ha ha)
More than that she seemed to love basking in the sun (well the overcast sky..). She laid on the blanket while I played with my camera and somehow she STILL managed to get sand EVERWHERE--and I do mean EVERWHERE. How does that happen???
