Ahhhh.... Oh, yeah....

Well, after a long and uneventful deployment, we finally get to the important part: going home.

Ireland? Well, that's not a dry country, is it?

What's this, a drinking establishment, conveniently located right in the airport? How marvelous!

After 7 dry months, there's nothing to jump-start your path to regaining alcohol tolerance like a nice Irish stout.

* Cough * Smooth.

With 200-something Marines (returning from Iraq) stuck at this bar for several hours, they certainly made some decent cash off us. Even better for them, none of us had any idea how much a Euro is worth, so we probably ended up paying twice what the beer was worth.

A drink to the end of my first deployment, and GySgt Alonso's final deployment with this squadron. Hoorah!

Glad to hear you made it back without a hitch and enjoyed a beer along the way. You, Steph and Lena were in our thoughts often. Elli has especially taken to Lena she talk of her often. So happy you get a little time to all catch up! We are excited to see you all again soon.
