Before heading home to CA, we stopped in North Carolina to visit some military friends. We were able to meet two new kids and get to know two kids we haven't seen in a few years! It was so good to see you guys!

Our friend Kim with her 4 month old Brooke. Aren't they beautiful!

Look at that face! She's perfect!

Lena had such fun with the boys and all of their toys. Caleb was a little frustrated with Lena's hands all over his toys and was always telling her "No" in this adorable voice. By the last day he warmed up to her enough to hug her though! Benjamin gave her lots of hugs and was so incredibly patient. Wonderful boys you have Amanda!

Jenn's son Jackson is 4! I remember hanging out at her house the night before they induced her being amazed at how 'tomorrow your life will be totally different!' Now he's 4 and my own life changing baby is almost 1! Jenn, it was so great to get a glimpse into Jackson's person--he's great!

Lena's new favorite thing to do--anything she can ride and make rock back and forth. She climbs on and off all by herself!

My wonderful friend and hostess Amanda with her youngest, Caleb. Amanda is an inspiration handling her husband's deployment so gracefully with the two boys. Thanks for all of your hospitality!

Well...a family picture was difficult, but still adorable in all of its chaos! I think thats just the way it goes when you have several boys...or maybe just kids in general...
We had so much fun and the flights were fairly uneventful. But after 2 and a half months away, it feels good to be home. Less than 2 months now till Dave comes home!
