The Grand Rapids Children's Museum

Oh the GR Children's Museum!  Why doesn't EVERY city have one of these?!  SOOO much fun to watch her discover and explore!  We went a few weeks ago with Courtney and her girls and loved it so much Lena and I came back with Aunt Andi.  

A very healthy and realistic grocery store where Lena could shop with us and even 'check out'! 

Life size tinker toys!!  While she was playing with these she crawled over to a man and just as she got up to him she put her hand to her ear like she was 'calling him'  (she's been doing that with just her hand and lots of rectangular objects the last week--so adorable!)  I think she thinks thats how you say "hello" because I say it each time she brings her fist to her ear like that..

Lena was so confused about this crab hanging out of this window that sounded like Mama--she didn't know it was me back there :)  

What a picture!  It is a triangular mirror tube she crawled through.

Sand tables are great...unless she eats the sand...

These flowers you can "pick" and "plant" in the holes in the wall and a planter.
