We heard there was a petting zoo at the Muskegon Summer Celebration festival going on all week, so of course I wanted to go! I was quite surprised by this petting zoo--they had your normal goats and sheep but they also had a giant tortoise, a zebra, kangaroos,
alpacas, llamas, and some other animals I'd never heard of! Lena enjoyed it--too bad i only got good pictures of the goats and sheep...
We fed the animals carrots! Of course Lena tried to eat them too...
The child is fearless--nose to nose with these animals and we could hardly pull her away!
This alpaca looked like a cartoon with his buck teeth, bulging eyes, and funny haircut!

Helena has come face-to-face with the alpaca, the most ruthless of all predators, and stood her ground. Way to go, baby girl.
