Wednesday's appointment was one of the most thrilling experiences of our lives. Dave and I saw our baby for the first time! I can't believe the little one is already an inch and 3/4 long! Here is our baby's head and belly. You can sort of see limbs if you look close.
His or her heartbeat was strong!
He or she was moving around so much but I can't feel a thing! Such a strange thought! Our next ultrasound is in 6 weeks and we will hopefully find out the gender. Doctor Elmore was fantastic and gave us a due date of September 15, 2008. She said that so far everything looks great and all my labs from last week came out fine. So I guess this is really happening! Ha!
